π Head of iGaming Merchant Risk

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and experienced Head of iGaming Merchant Risk to build and lead our Merchant Risk Department from the ground up.
This is a unique opportunity for a risk professional with deep iGaming expertise to create underwriting frameworks, establish risk policies, implement monitoring tools, and build a team responsible for protecting our ecosystem from regulatory, operational, and financial risks.
Key Responsibilities
πΉ Develop and manage merchant underwriting and risk assessment frameworks
πΉ Conduct merchant due diligence, website audits, and license verification
πΉ Perform compliance reviews covering AML/KYC and responsible gaming requirements
πΉ Design and execute operational audits and mystery shopping programs
πΉ Monitor merchant performance, fraud indicators, chargebacks, and transaction anomalies
πΉ Ensure compliance with card scheme requirements and gambling regulations
πΉ Build, train, and lead a high-performing Merchant Risk team
Requirements
β 5+ years of experience in iGaming Risk, Merchant Underwriting, Fraud Prevention, or Compliance
β Strong knowledge of online casino and sportsbook operations
β Deep understanding of payment processing, PSPs, aggregators, and affiliate traffic
β Experience identifying high-risk merchants, fake licenses, and compliance violations
β Strong analytical, investigative, and decision-making skills
β Previous leadership experience and ability to build processes from scratch
