Lawyer (iGaming) – Banking, Payments & Contracts
International iGaming holding with 10+ years on the market is looking for an experienced Legal Operations Specialist to support banking, compliance, and contractual processes across multiple jurisdictions

🎯 About the Role
This is a hands-on operational legal position focused on:
• 60% – banking, EMI/PSP, account openings, KYC/KYB, compliance
• 40% – contracts review, negotiations, registry management
You’ll work directly with international banks, payment providers, registrars, and external counsel. The role requires proven international experience – we’re not training juniors, we’re looking for a ready specialist who can own processes independently

🧩 Key Responsibilities
1. Banking & Payment Operations
• Open and maintain accounts in EU, Cyprus, and other jurisdictions
• Prepare full KYC/KYB/AML documentation packages
• Handle Source of Funds (SoF) and Source of Wealth (SoW) requests
• Communicate directly with banks, EMIs, PSPs, and compliance teams
• Draft explanations and evidence for marketing services, transactions, invoices, audits
• Manage timelines, statuses, and internal coordination

2. Contract Management (L0–L1 level)
• Review and negotiate standard agreements: NDA, MSA, SOW, partnership, affiliate, DPA
• Coordinate execution and signature processes
• Maintain contract registry (versions, terms, renewals)
• Liaise with accounting and 1C system

3. Licensing Support (nice-to-have)
• Support Curaçao gaming license processes and other jurisdictions
• Opportunity to grow into licensing track
4. IP & Traffic Protection (DMCA)
• Collect evidence of infringements
• File complaints with hosting providers, domain registrars, search engines (Google, Bing)
• Monitor takedown processes

5. Legal Research & Knowledge Management
• Monitor regulatory updates in EU jurisdictions
• Prepare internal memos, summaries, and policy briefs
• Update legal knowledge base
6. AI-Assisted Legal Work
• Use AI tools for drafting, data extraction, document classification
• Maintain confidentiality standards

✅ Requirements
(Must-Have)
Professional Experience
• 2–3+ years of in-house legal experience in international environments
• Proven track record with:
• International banking and EMI/PSP operations
• KYC/KYB compliance in multiple jurisdictions
• Account opening processes
• Cross-border communication with financial institutions
• Experience in iGaming, fintech, or high-risk industries is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with Curaçao gaming license is highly valued

Skills & Competencies:
• English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher – both written and spoken + UKR , Ru
• Strong understanding of EU contract law and compliance frameworks
• Structured thinking, high attention to detail, multitasking ability
• Proficiency with Google Workspace / MS Office / Jira / CRM tools
• Comfortable with AI tools for legal workflows
