About the role
EMKAP Ltd, a CySEC and FCA licensed investment business, is looking for a talented Full Stack Java Developer to join our development team in Limassol. You will design, develop, and support internal software systems, helping us make our platforms more efficient, secure, and user-friendly.

What you’ll do
• Develop and maintain applications using Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate).
• Work on both back-end and front-end development.
• Design and implement REST APIs.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito).
• Collaborate on technical solutions, documentation, and architecture.
• Support and enhance existing systems, including a new booking application for front-office users.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and tools.

What we’re looking for
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a software developer.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, MySQL, REST API.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD and version control (Gitlab, Maven, Docker).
• Problem-solving mindset and collaborative working style.
• Front-end experience with JSP, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3.
• Advantageous: Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Linux.
