Senior / Lead / Staff Backend Engineer at TaxDome 💙

We’re now looking for a strong Backend Engineer to join our Technical Cluster — the team responsible for building and evolving architecture, shared services, and internal platforms that ensure stability and scalability across the system.

Ruby on Rails 7+ · PostgreSQL · Docker · Kubernetes · AWS · GitLab CI/CD

🎯 What you’ll do:
— Design and develop key services and shared components
— Improve system architecture and performance
— Enhance CI/CD, observability, and security
— Mentor developers and raise engineering standards

👤 We’re looking for someone with:
— 5–8 years of backend development experience
— Deep understanding of scalable system foundations
— Experience shipping production systems serving thousands of users
— Knowledge of distributed systems: data modeling, caching, queues, monitoring, failure scenarios
— Confidence in end-to-end ownership: from RFC to production rollout and post-mortems

🌍 Format: remote-first
💰 Salary: $5,500 – $10,000
