💼 Position: Senior Java Developer

FinDev is an international IT company founded by engineers, specializing in developing niche software for international banks and investment funds.

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join the Investment Accounting / Positions team working for a major asset management fund.
This team develops software solutions both on-prem and in the cloud to capture trading transactions and calculate positions for the fund.

You will work closely with hedge fund business teams and other developers as a senior engineer.
Your role will be key in driving our Middle Office Transformation Initiative, giving investment teams a real-time and accurate view of trades, positions, P&L, and performance, and providing technology teams with standardized interfaces to access data efficiently.

📌 About You:
• Strong background in financial systems: transactions, positions, P&L, or performance management
• 8+ years of software development, including 5+ years in Java (Core + multithreading)
• Experience building cloud-native applications in AWS
• Experience with Kafka or other real-time messaging systems
• Hands-on experience with distributed caching (Memcached, Ignite, etc.)
• Proven experience developing distributed, large-scale, data-intensive systems
• Strong SQL and database query skills
• Financial industry experience is a must; Python knowledge is a plus
• English — Upper-Intermediate+
