Hytech group is a leading Management Consultancy firm, specialising in driving digital transformation for business in the fintech industries. Hytech group has around 1500 employees in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Taiwan. Since November 2023, we've launched a new office in Cyprus to develop in-house solutions for risk management, anti-fraud operations and cybersecurity.

We’re looking for Java Developer to join our growing team!

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications in a microservices architecture;
• Implement scalable and reliable solutions using Spring Framework, Kafka, and container orchestration tools (K8s);
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements;
• Write, maintain, and improve unit tests to ensure code quality and prevent regressions;
• Optimise application performance and ensure system reliability;
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development best practices;
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes;
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

What you’ll need:

• At least 3 years of commercial development experience;
• Excellent knowledge of core Java technologies: Java SDK, concurrency, Spring Framework;
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and K8s;
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles: OOP, design patterns, and system design;
• Experience in developing microservices / SOA applications:
• Experience in building efficient communication between components (REST, gRPC, message brokers);
• Experience working with relational databases, caching systems, and NoSQL databases;
• Nice to have: DevOps knowledge (CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, containerisation, infrastructure as code).
