🚀Timspark is looking for a DevOps/Data Platform Engineer with a focus on the enablement and operational readiness of the internal Databricks.

The goal is to support internal customers in choosing, configuring, and productively using the Databricks environment, with a strong emphasis on infrastructure setup, onboarding processes, and data engineering readiness.

🎯 Core Responsibilities
• Customer onboarding to Databricks:
Guide internal users through the technical onboarding process and ensure they understand how to effectively use the platform.
• Databricks configuration:
Set up and configure Databricks workspaces, including Unity Catalog and related networking components (especially important and appreciated).
• Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) Automation:
Automate, Maintain and extend infrastructure components (e.g., Terraform) required for Databricks and other platform elements. While not the majority of the role, IaC is part of the expected responsibilities.
• Data Engineering readiness:
Provide foundational support in setting up data pipelines, creating tables, and ensuring basic data engineering workflows run smoothly. This is not the main focus, but any hands-on experience in this area is highly valued.
• Collaboration and documentation:
Work closely with PMO, participate in virtual meetings, and make use of internal documentation and the company wiki once onboarded.

🎯 Must-Have Skills
• Strong and proven Databricks knowledge, especially:
o Workspace setup and configuration
o Unity Catalog (even partial knowledge is appreciated)
o Networking aspects within Databricks
• Hands-on DevOps mindset
o Ability to work autonomously on infrastructure and platform enablement tasks
o Proactive support of internal users
• Foundational Data Engineering skills
o Understanding of how to create tables and pipelines in Databricks
• Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
o Practical experience (e.g., Terraform) to manage cloud infrastructure components
o Willingness to include IaC as part of the daily work, though not 60–80% of the role

🎯 Nice-to-Have
• Strong, proven, large Scale IaC- automation Experience
• Experience with MLOps:
