Position: Senior QA Automation Engineer (Java)

We are looking for a proactive Lead QA Engineer to join our development team. The team focuses on platforms and services related to the Investment Book of Records (IBOR) — a centralized, real-time (or near real-time) data source that aggregates and provides accurate, up-to-date investment data, including trades, positions, cash balances, and other securities transactions.

What you’ll be working on:
▫️Build QA processes and define testing strategy from the ground up
▫️Develop and maintain backend automated tests (Java)
▫️Design and execute test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
▫️Perform integration and regression testing across upstream and downstream systems
▫️Investigate issues through log analysis and deep system understanding
▫️Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and DevOps to embed quality into the delivery process
▫️Support and maintain testing environments
▫️Understand and apply business-specific logic in the investment data domain

What we’re looking for:
▫️Strong experience in backend test automation (Java)
▫️Ability to work independently and learn complex business domains quickly
▫️Solid knowledge of Java and SQL
▫️Familiarity with APIs and distributed systems
▫️Experience in reading and analyzing logs
▫️Good understanding of QA practices and SDLC
▫️Confident English communication skills (both spoken and written)

Nice to have:
▫️Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab, GitHub)
▫️Familiarity with observability tools (e.g. Datadog, Splunk)
▫️Experience working in Linux environments
▫️UI test automation experience
