About Project:
Startup in the AI/Avatars space. Looking for a versatile developer who can handle multiple responsibilities while staying within budget.
This role is primarily backend-focused, with Python as the main language.
The position is open because of building a new team. Looking for a candidate with a strong background in C++ and Python, with video streaming knowledge.

Pacific Timezone - a couple of hours overlap with PT is needed (until 8pm Warsaw time - not always).

Requirements:
• Application-Level Expertise: Someone who has built applications using high-level APIs for real-time streaming.
• Experience with Pipecat, Daily.co, LiveKit, VideoSDK, GStreamer, Jitsi, Janus WebRTC or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience with protocols and libraries such as WebSockets and WebRTC.
• Python Experience: Proficiency with Python-based libraries for these technologies is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with C++-based libraries.

Additional Desirable Skills:
• WebTransport & WebCodecs: Open to candidates with deep experience in WebTransport and/or WebCodecs. While these are lower-level than immediate need, expertise here indicates a strong foundational understanding of modern web streaming.
• Machine Learning (ML): ML experience is a valuable bonus, but not a core requirement for this role.
