Group Legal Counsel for Limassol office

We are an international fintech group with operations across Europe and North America, including:
· A holding company in Luxembourg
· Swiss and Canadian operational fintech payment gateways
· Cyprus-based management and IT Development companies

We are looking for a Group Legal Counsel to oversee all legal affairs across the group, from regulatory and commercial matters to corporate governance and compliance.

This is a full-time on-site role located in Limassol, Cyprus for a Legal Counsel with over two years experience.

**The Legal Counsel will have following responsibilities:
**• Lead and coordinate legal strategy across multiple jurisdictions (EU, Switzerland, Canada);
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial and intercompany agreements;
• Oversee compliance with legal standards and regulations, including financial regulations (PSD2 equivalence), AML, GDPR, ISO Standards, PCI and IP law;
• Advise on employment, corporate, tech, and data privacy law across the group;
• Oversee all legal matters within the group;

Qualifications:
• Experience in corporate law over 2 years (preferably in fintech or related spheres);
• Strong knowledges of Fintech legislation, AML, GDPR, IP rights;
• Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and Legal Document Preparation;
• Experience in addressing and resolving Legal Issues;
• Ability to provide expert Legal Advice to senior management and shareholders;
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Admittance to the bar will be a plus.
