SRE

We are looking for a SRE for our client - an international privately owned company specialising in high frequency trading (HFT), headquartered in the Netherlands and with offices in Amsterdam, Limassol, and Singapore, and growing by leaps and bounds.

The main role will be to manage remote brokers and server equipment worldwide (10 locations, 500+ bare-metal servers).

__This is a full-time hybrid position, offices are located in Moscow and Limassol, Cyprus

What kind of qualifications we are looking for:
🔹Experience in deploying, configuring and administering Linux based servers;
🔹Good knowledge of Linux and network basics - protocols, services etc;
🔹Really strong experience with bare-metal infrastructure, good level of hardware-related experience;
🔹Working experience with remote Git repositories with various git flows;
🔹Ability to work with configuration management systems (Ansible, Salt, other);
🔹Know monitoring system (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana);
🔹Basic Python/Go skills and bash skills;
🔹 for trading: experience with various VPN protocols (ovpn, WG, ipsec and any other)
🔹for trading: experience in hardware tuning and overclocking is a plus
🔹for infra: experience with KVM, with Docker
🔹for infra: knowledge about basic k8s concepts.

Would be great if you had this:
🔹Know the major lines of server hardware from leading vendors;
🔹Working experience with remote Git repositories;
🔹Experience in providing technical support for cloud services.


What we are expecting from you:
▪️Developing internal components/structures
▪️Being responsible for the data center where servers are hosted (total number of about 500) and our services + some of the services located outside our Cyprus
▪️With us you can try to work with various exotic networks (radio relay, shortwave), atomic clocks, assemble your own GPU cluster, tuning and overclocking servers, etc.
