We are looking for an experienced data engineer. You will be involved in the creation of a unified analytical system that will allow you to simultaneously track key metrics, analyze performance and find new growth points for an investment company in the iGaming industry. This role reports to the Chief Data Officer.

Major responsibilities:
● Interaction with portfolio companies to collect data and organize its transfer to a centralized repository on Amazon S3.
● Developing and supporting ETL processes for data collection, transformation and loading using Apache Airflow.
● Data management and execution of complex SQL queries in PostgreSQL, Data Warehouse setup and support.
● Collecting and processing financial data in PostgreSQL to produce analytical reports and monitor metrics.
● Developing and optimizing data architecture and Data Modeling to ensure scalability and high system performance.
● Working with Python to write scripts and automate processes; proficiency in the language is required.
● Supporting data quality, implementing validation processes and automating data processing.
● Participate in the development and enhancement of existing monitoring and reporting systems.
● Work closely with analytics and BI development teams to design and implement new data and analytical models.
● Focus on automating processes and minimizing manual intervention, striving to build an efficient system with minimal human resources involved.
 
Requirements:
● At least 5 years of experience in the position of Data Engineer.
● Higher technical education in computer science, information technology or related field.
● Knowledge of Amazon S3, Google Cloud, experience with cloud data warehousing.
● Experience with Apache Airflow for orchestration of ETL processes.
● Strong PostgreSQL skills, including designing, optimizing and executing complex SQL queries.
● Understanding of Data Architecture and Data Modeling concepts, experience in designing and optimizing data schemas.
● Experience with data monitoring tools and data quality assurance.
● Excellent command of Python and experience working with it in a production environment.
● Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
● Knowledge of English at least upper-intermediate level

Will be a plus:
● Experience with Apache Kafka and streaming processes, ability to design and maintain streaming applications.
● Experience with BI tools - Tableau, PowerBI.
● Experience with ClickHouse.
● Experience in the iGaming industry ecosystem.
