Helio Games is a mobile game developer headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus. Our studio was founded in 2017. We continue to grow our business, so we want to add a new specialist to our team – an **Assistant Chief Accountant.

😎 MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supporting our financial operations by assisting the Chief Accountant with month-end closing
• VAT and VIES Reporting: Prepare and submit VAT and VIES reports timely.
• You will be the go-to person for the execution of payments.
• Maintaining precise financial records, including those for banks, payables, receivables, income, and expenses
• You’ll ensure all transactions are accurately posted in our accounting software
• Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank accounts, debtors, and creditors.
• Ensure that all transactions posted are supported with the relevant documentation
• Assisting in the preparation and submission of Income Tax Returns for individuals.

💪REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Completed degree in higher education (Finance/Accounting).
• Good knowledge of IFRS, Cyprus Taxation.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within an accounting firm or corporate environment.
• Experience in payment department would be considered an advantage.
• Computer literacy with a good working knowledge of MS office tools especially a very good knowledge of MS Excel
• Experience in the preparation of Personal Income Tax Returns (ITD1 Forms) will be considered an advantage.
• Good data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Interlinked thinking and structured way of working.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Fluency in Russian and English. Greek will be considered an advantage.
