Ideal candidate:
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Analyst
• Proficient in SQL and Python
• Experience in uplift modeling as a plus
• English B2+

🚀XM, a leading trading company, is seeking a Senior Laravel Backend Developer to join our team in Limassol, Cyprus.

📍Location: Limassol, Cyprus (on-site)

Requirements:
✔️At least 4 years of experience in a similar position;
✔️Extensive experience in backend development using PHP 8+ and Laravel 9+
✔️Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns;
✔️Experience with code quality tools like Psalm, PHPStan, and Laravel Pint;
✔️Experience in writing tests using PHPUnit or Pest, and appreciation for TDD;
✔️Proficiency in VCS, particularly Git, and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines;
✔️Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly MySQL and PostgreSQL, and caching mechanisms using Redis;
✔️Experience with Microservices.

Responsibilities:
● Develop and implement backend services using PHP 8+ and Laravel 9+, ensuring code quality, performance, and security;
● Optimise database performance and scalability using MySQL and Redis for caching and data storage;
● Work in close collaboration with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end features and enhancements;
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend solutions for our platform;

Nice to have:
✔️ Familiarity with event-driven architectures and technologies like Kafka, gRPC, or similar messaging systems;
✔️ Experience with AWS
✔️ Experience in Go
✔️ Experience with ClickHouse or similar columnar databases for optimized storage and analytical processing.
