Senior SDET UAE remote

Project: an educational platform based on artificial intelligence
Fully remote
Salary: up to $110 000 / year gross

Responsibilities
Create and execute comprehensive testing strategies for our mobile application and backend services.
Implement and maintain UI tests for the mobile application using tools like Appium.
Develop and manage contract tests for backend APIs.
Continuously improve the automation frameworks and tools.
Perform manual testing of frontend features when necessary, including layouts and animations.
Participate in the epic grooming process to analyze requirements and determine the technical feasibility of automation testing.
Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and set testable criteria.
Design tests to identify bugs and priorities them based on impact and severity.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
5+ years in Test Automation
Extensive experience in mobile testing
Solid experience with test automation tools and frameworks (Appium, REST assured, Alt tester)
Strong development skills with Java with a confidence to write robust, maintainable code
Solid understanding of test design techniques and an ability to priorities and manage bugs effectively
Experience with backend architectures, SQL databases, REST API and websockets
Strong experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
Fluent English
