🧾 Chief Accountant 💻
Hi! We are DataArt — a global software engineering firm. We are looking for a Chief Accountant, who will provide insight and decision support to Heads of departments and Senior leadership teams.

⚒ Responsibilities:
• Accounting policies development and set up of full cycle accounting function
• Book-keeping under Cyprus law, Day-to-day accounting entries of the transactional data in the accounting system and internal systems
• Regular salary and related taxes calculations for employees (preparing and executing of full Payroll cycle)
• Vendor management
• Tax Accounting and Computation of corporate taxes including all tax filings (VAT, VIES, corporate tax, etc)
• Preparing statutory accounts and transformation into a format compatible with consolidation, reporting to authorities (BS, PL, SCF, etc)
• Cash flow management and forecasting
• Support in any kind of accounting and tax audits
📖 Requirements:
• Degree in Economics (accounting, analysis, audit)
• 3-5 years' experience as an accountant keeping full accounting and tax records and making accounting and tax reports
• Good knowledge of laws and other documents under which accounting and tax reports are prepared in Cyprus.
• The ability to reasonably apply this knowledge in practice
• General knowledge of Cyprus Civil Law
• Expert knowledge of Excel
• Eligible to work in Cyprus
• Fluent in English and Greek
