Our AntiFraud team is looking for a Quantitative Analyst with relocation to Cyprus. AntiFraud team mitigates fraudulent activity on the platform, preventing losses for stakeholders and helping to improve the trading experience for clients. Solving these challenges requires analyzing big data, understanding complex patterns, and designing protective measures. To achieve this, we focus on modern data-driven approaches and strive to develop robust algorithms.

We welcome candidates with quantitative skills and a curiosity for data to join our department of professionals with backgrounds in Math, Economics, Finance, and / or Risk Management.

The team is Russian-speaking, fluent Russian language is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
— Researching trading and payment activity to detect suspicious orders by analyzing extensive, complex, sensitive data using cutting-edge systems and methodologies.
— By using ML models and monitoring, identify anomalies and adverse patterns.
— Assisting with the development, testing, and documentation of new anti-fraud technologies.
— Maintaining the firm's existing fraud prevention systems and ensuring that new solutions meet industry standards alongside other Anti-Fraud Analysts and Developers.
— Assisting and consulting other business units on fraud prevention
— Everyday tasks may also include communicating with other business units to gather information and provide consultations.

REQUIRED:
— University Degree in Mathematics, Economics, or Finance.
— Good background in Mathematics, Probability Theory, Statistics, Time Series analysis, Financial Mathematics and the ability to apply them to real-world problems.
— Ability to explain and defend the methodology used in the development of quantitative models and tools.
— Ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, understandable manner to other business units.
— Experience in SQL, Python, or R.
— Upper-Intermediate level of English.
— Native or fluent Russian.
