Job Title: Senior Tech Lead

What will you be doing?

Cattle Care is looking for a person who will oversee their tech strategy. This role will involve writing code, mentoring and reviewing code from developers, hiring and developing the tech team, defining tools/architecture/process, and taking ownership of the production infrastructure.

Responsibilities will include:

- Code development: writing code and remaining hands-on in development.
- Team leadership: mentoring and reviewing code from developers, hiring, and developing the tech team.
- Architecture & tools: defining tools, architecture, and processes.
- Production infrastructure: taking ownership of the production infrastructure.
- Component ownership: overseeing the development of all components within the Cattle Care software solution, including the annotation component, front-end/back-office components, and computer vision component.
- Computer vision development: leading the development of Computer Vision components used to analyze dairy farms' milking operations.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

- Excellent written English skills.
- Native or fluent Russian.
- 5+ years of recent experience as a full-stack developer.
- Minimum 2+ years of team leadership experience, responsible for full life cycle delivery of complicated web-based products.
- Must have experience with Python (crucial), Django, Docker / Docker compose, and relational databases.

Nice to have:

- React, Google Cloud, Celery, CI/CD.
- Experience working in or with distributed teams.
- Previous experience in a startup environment.
