**Vacancy: Senior/Lead Database Administrator
Limassol, Cyprus

**✨ You will be responsible for:
- Development (set up) and support of database infrastructure for highly loaded PostgreSQL clusters and SingleNode;
- Control and optimization of existing configurations and installations, directing and performing all activities related to maintaining a successful database environment;
- Design and implement high availability, including read replicas, 24/7;
- Be part of the DevOps processes - builds (build files) and deployment;
- Provide security support and database auditing;
- Assist the database administrators and developers in database best practices;
- 1Perform production level support and be part of the on call rotation when required.

✨ Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience working with databases;
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL databases, physical/logical database design, security management, HA/DR, clustering, replication, encryption, data types, performance optimization, DBA, monitoring and design/ application development;
- Solid understanding of relational theory;
- Understanding of physical and logical replication and their extensions (pglogical, debezium);
- Excellent knowledge of SQL;
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based databases;
- Experience with NOSQL products.
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, CI/DC;
- Understanding ORM related issues;
- Ability to take full responsibility for the results of the work.
