Role Description
The Senior Accountant is a full-time remote role responsible for maintaining accounting records and ensuring the integrity of financial information. The Senior Accountant will manage the chart of accounts, prepare journal entries, reconcile bank accounts, maintain account balances, and assist in financial reporting.
Handle full spectrum of financial and accounting role and responsibilities:
• Bookkeeping in ESOFT for several companies including electronical document flow
• Preparation of accounts, followed by financial statements (TB, PL, BS) according to legal and IFRS (International) requirements
• Assistance with tax forecast, calcualtion and tax optimization
• Preparation, submission and filing of group company’s taxes (ie corporation tax, SDC, WHT, VAT, VIES, GESY, Social Insurance)
• Preparation and presentation to the management of monthly and annual in-house management accounts and cash flow reports with comparison to the approved budget figures
• Liasing with external services providers regarding Group Companies’ matters (Banks, Auditors, Advisors)

Qualifications
• At least 5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in IT companies.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles
• Experience with accounting software ESOFT and GOOGLE instruments is the must
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with small and medium-sized businesses is a plus
• Proficiency in English and Russian languages, Greek as the huge advantage
