Hi all, we are looking for a Laravel Developer to join our team.
Your key tasks:
• Develop scalable, maintainable, and fast-performing web applications.
• Create an MVC code infrastructure and help with architecture that is built for scaling fast.
• Develop custom MVC themes, Composer plugins, and templating engine with Gutenberg Blocks
• Create and update re-usable code libraries to streamline the development cycle.
• Be responsible for product quality by optimizing, refactoring, and re-implementing legacy applications.
• Troubleshoot development issues and provide solutions.
• Document technical and functional specifications
• Ensure software development best practices and timeliness of product delivery.
• Discuss and develop new features, enhancements, and content of existing websites with other teams.
• Support the team with code reviews, workflow improvements, and tight deadlines.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with other team members.
• Have a proactive approach to learning, growth, and sharing.
• Build decoupled/headless themes, and plugins on top of the WordPress Framework
Requirements:
• 5+ years of proven work experience as a Developer in Object Oriented PHP, 3+ years of previous experience in front-end/web development with the latest HTML, CSS JavaScript frameworks, trends, and methodologies
• 3+ years of experience and knowledge of WordPress Framework,
• Strong communication skills (preferably in English and a second language)
• Hands-on experience in Building Gutenberg blocks
• Working experience in building RESTful APIs is a must.
• Working with MVC frameworks and templating engines is a huge plus.
• Basic knowledge of ES6 and React JS is highly regarded.
• Experience in PHP units or/and TDD is a huge plus.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Focused on speed delivery without compromising quality.
• Advanced knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git, and best practices
• Experience working with debugging tools and maintaining technical debt.
• Have up-to-date knowledge of new guidelines and methodologies on high scalability with WordPress.
• Good understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Self-motivated and highly organized
• A high work ethic with the drive to get things done
• iGaming, gaming, and/or affiliate experience is a plus
