Vacancy: AML|CTF Cards Transaction Monitoring Specialist (Cards Acquiring)
Company, location: International Payment Institution, Riga
Employment contract: remote | office, fulltime
Salary level: from 2000 - 2500 euro net

🔖 **What will you do:
**- Lead company’s AML|CTF cards transaction monitoring direction and related improvement projects.
- Develop, test and implement new monitoring scenarios;
- Participate in improvements of monitoring process and software;
- Perform card and crypto transaction monitoring (alert processing) in a special software solution based on built-in scenarios;
- Perform investigation on alerted transactions or detected suspicious customer activity;
- Implement, configure, and improve specialized monitoring systems for card transactions and crypto transactions;
- Implement, be responsible for and improve other with AML|CTF compliance related IT solutions for monitoring, identification, data collection and retention, website automated due diligence etc;
- Make analysis on generated alerts and make decisions to accept or deny transactions, escalate case to senior compliance employees or perform suspicious activity reporting to authorities.
- Process alerts of possible matches form customer (and related person) screening against lists (sanctions, terrorist, etc.).

📌 **Required:
**- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or law.
- From 2 years experience in AML|CTF industry.
- Practical experience in cards transaction AML|CTF monitoring and alert processing in a financial institution;
- Good knowledge of European standards and legislation principles in AML|CTF.
- Good understanding of European, United Nations and USA (OFAC) sanctions regimes;
- Knowledge and experience in card transaction monitoring/processing and crypto transaction monitoring is advisable;
- Fluent in English, Latvian and Russian.
