MeritKapital, an FCA and CySEC licensed investment business based in Limassol is seeking to recruit a Java Developer to develop and support the internal software.
 
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computing or equivalent;
· 2+ years of experience in a similar role;
· Solid understanding of object-oriented programming;
·  Strong Experience with Java 11, Hibernate, Spring Framework (Core, MVC/Webflux,  Data/Integration, Security, AOP)
· Experience with JavaScript, JQuery;
· Good knowledge of Maven/Gradle and CI/CD systems (Gitlab/Jenkins);
· Unit & integration testing frameworks and best practices (e.g. JUnit, Mockito);
· API design and implementation (REST);
· Experience with code profiling, memory dumb analysis, analysis of logs, metrics and traces.
· Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills;
· Knowledge of design, creation and implementation of front-end development;
·Additional technologies used in our projects: ElasticSearch, ActiveMQ, Jenkins, JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence.
 
Responsibilities:
·Implementation and maintenance software applications in Java using the Spring Framework and SQL;
·Design, creation and implementation of back-end development;
· Documentation of technical solutions and designs in compliance with software architecture;
·Providing post-development support;
· Support and train users with existing systems;
