I've written a bunch of roles for Ansible. And I know why you shouldn't use command/shell.
I used Terraform to deploy virtual machines on several cloud providers and still actively use it for developing my local stand.
Also, I installed and supported ELK Stack (basic configuration and without high loads) and wrote grok templates.
I use bash/python for simple tasks in regular life and can write simple code in GO. I'm good at reading other people's code.
