The core of the role will be continually developing our current product range as well as taking the lead on new products in the pipeline. You will be writing software for touchscreen, mobile and desktop devices. The role is remote, so you can work from anywhere. Additional perks include phone and internet costs will be covered.

To be qualified for this role, you should have an academic background or relevant job history in Computer Science or Software Engineering, be up to date on the latest technologies and have a strong desire to see your work deployed and running in factories across the globe.

Role and Responsibilities

Develop interface components and libraries that are reusable and future proof.
Convert UI/UX designs and wireframes into high quality code
Optimize components for best performance across devices and browsers.
Work and collaborate with the rest of the engineering team
Technical skills and competencies
Deep understanding of React and its fundamentals in a functional environment using hooks
Significant experience with NextJS, especially SSR and ISR for content serving; Typescript; node.js; Prism and NextAuth; Feedback for state management; Tailwind CSS for Responsive Design - CSS Grid/Flexbox postgres
Knowledge of RESTful APIs
Knowledge of Git to manage repositories
Introduction to the Google Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of agile methodology

Background Experience

At least 5 years of experience as a full stack JavaScript developer
Outstanding academic background; a minimum of 2:1 in a scientific and/or numerical subject from a leading academic institution
Postgraduate studies in mathematical, scientific, technical subjects are desirable
