The Role
You will be working alongside your colleagues in our Build Team to deliver websites and web applications on our Nuxt JS headless framework (authored via WordPress). You’ll convert Adobe XD designs into beautiful, highly functional, fully responsive websites.
You’ll apply your aptitude for scripting clean, re-usable code to ensure everything is written to an internal coding standard. You’ll be experienced in a professional environment and adept at supporting products and codebases of varying age and quality.
You’ll understand the principles of Object Orientated Programming and have an appreciation for the importance of data relationships.

You should bring

Basic Qualifications
4+ years of experience in hands-on software development with Python, Javascript, PHP or equivalent languages
2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling of software systems
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or an equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
Experience collaborating with analytics engineers (e.g., business intelligence), data science, and data engineering
Experience working with AWS technologies (e.g., Lambda, ECS, SQS, SNS, AppFlow)
Proven success in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, plan strategically and execute tactically
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal outside direction, while constantly advancing long term goal
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience building and successfully delivering to customers complex, componentized cloud-based software solutions (i.e., avoid monoliths) with detailed documentation
Experience building robust software integrations between 3rd party software systems (leveraging their APIs), and between those systems and our AWS-based data warehouse to avoid "lock in" of our data
Ability to lead a team to deliver complex solutions from scoping requirements through launch
