I am looking for an experienced
Financial Director/Senior Financial Manager
(English and Russian fluent speaker) to join one of the biggest private schools in Cyprus.

📍What we are looking for:
- 4+ years of experience in Financial Accounting as an auditor, financial controller, or financial manager. A relevant experience in international auditing companies (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC or others) will be an advantage.
- ACCA and/or CPA qualification
- In-depth understanding of core financial processes and relevant systems
- Excellent knowledge of accounting, tax, and reporting standards & principles
- Ability to understand management reports and proactively drive cost controlling
- Experience in process improvement and automation
- Higher Education in Economics or Finance
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced company, ready to work on your own or as part of a team
- Ability to take feedback, learn quickly, and adapt to new situations
- Good communication skills and no fear of challenging the status quo
- Fluent English and Russian

📍What you will do:
- Prepare and control monthly accounting reports
- Manage accuracy of P&L and Balance Sheet reporting
- Cooperate on regular financial planning updates
- Proactively drive cost control to ensure accurate reporting and optimal cost level
- Manage budgeting and forecasting
- Demonstrate strong technical accounting skills required in order to arrive at and document accounting conclusions
- Take ownership of all reporting functions (IFRS)
- Produce timely and accurate compliant financial results - consolidated accounts, variance analysis, and forecasting results
- Preparation of Board reporting packs and Investor presentations
- Liaise with external auditors
- Implement an accounting system and efficiencies in the reporting process
- Rise a culture of financial control within the international team
