We are looking for an experienced Android developer for our Video platform team to join our growing and fast-paced company in Limassol (Cyprus) office.
This team has developed from scratch the proprietary video platform Tango, which includes its content delivery system around the world, where the video stream is fully controlled all the way from the moment of capturing picture and sound from the camera and microphone, respectively, to its reproduction on the side of the viewer. To achieve optimal results both in terms of quality and speed of video delivery, as well as in terms of price-quality ratio, the system works in a mulitcloud environment.

Our requirements:
* 3+ years of commercial Android development experience
* Strong knowledge of Java
* Knowledge of OOP principles and design patterns
* Experience with Android MediaCodec, Android NDK, JNI
* Ability to use code profiling tools, find and fix bottlenecks.
* Ability and desire to work independently
* Writing code in a clean and maintainable manner
* Excellent problem finding and solving skills
* Knowledge of English at least pre-intermediate
* Good communication skills
The plus will be:
* Knowledge of Kotlin
* Experience with Dagger2
* Knowledge of the basics of reactive approach and functional programming

Our tasks:
* Improvement and support of a mobile application for Android in Java / Kotlin
* Implementation of new functions
* Quality control of implementation and code quality
* Design and develop new low latency video platform on client
* Optimize code to achieve better performance
