We are looking for an experienced Data Science Team Lead. The ideal candidate is a data science leader who enjoys building a vision, making the optimal impact for the company using data science modeling and data research, while also leading a team of data scientists and enabling them to grow.
Our day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Drive impact for the company using data science models where they can provide the optimal solution to business challenges
• Management of a large team containing 7-8 data scientists, identify strengths of each team member and match projects to the most fitting persons, help them to grow professionally and find challenge in their work, while maintaining a positive, productive environment
• Manage and guide the team throughout the full data science cycle, from research to deployment and model use in production
• Monitor and maintain models documentation, accuracy and performance over time
• Collaborate with many peers such as ML Engineers, DevOps, Integration Developers, Product and QA
• Work in a Google Cloud Platform environment
Requirements:
• 1+ years of experience in people's management
• 5+ Experience in hands on data science modeling, specifically in big data environments
• Experience with real time environments - an advantage
• Advanced Python knowledge, good familiarity with libraries such as Scikit-Learn, Keras, TensorFlow, Numpy, Pandas, seaborn, matplotlib
• Experience using public cloud solutions such as Google Cloud Platform/AWS/Azure
• Excellent understanding of statistics, mathematics and ML models implementation
• Experience with AB Tests - an advantage
• Strong organizational skills
Please note: the position is open for for those who are already in Cyprus or ready to relocate to our Cyprus office. Visa and relocation packaged are offered to successful candidates (Company pays all relocation expenses including: tickets, hotel for 2 weeks, all expenses for documents).
