Vacancy Accountant / Bookkeeper (Cyprus office)
 
Meritservus Secretaries Limited is looking for a part-time Accountant / Bookkeeper for one of our clients in LIMASSOL Sector: mobile game development company headquartered in Limassol (Cyprus) and R&D office in Minsk (Belarus).

The monthly audience of our games is more than 3 million people and is constantly growing. Our games are popular in the USA, Canada, Great Britain and in more than 80 countries around the world.

We have ambitious plans for several years ahead and the company needs employees who are inspired to achieve the best results.

The ideal combination of youth and experience is important for us.

Now we are looking for a part-time accountant / bookkeeper to our Cyprus office, based in Limassol.
 
Duties:
●       Prepare and maintain the bookkeeping and accounting records and ensure they are up-to-date, including the intangible assets accounting;
●       Liaising with external accountants, associates
●       Development and implementation of internal procedures
●       Compiling management accounts on quarterly, half-year and annual basis;
●       Prepare the quarterly VAT reports, submit the reports to VAT authority system, and reconcile the accounting records;
●       Prepare the monthly VIES reports, submit the reports to Taxis net and reconcile the accounting records;
●       Correspondence with contractors for issues related to the maintenance of the accounting records, as well as reconciliation of payments;
●       Working with outgoing and incoming transfers, as well as invoice collection, preparation, payment and management;
●       Act as the main contact person for the banks and state authorities for tax and accounting related inquiries
●       Preparation of accounting file for the external accountants and auditors, together with supporting documentation;
●       Cooperation with the company’s external accountants, auditors and tax advisors during the accounting period;
●       Preparation and collection of all the relevant information for the registration/ deregistration of employees with the social insurance department and tax authorities;
●       Arranging amendments to tax and social insurance department related to the company data (for example, officers and address change);
●       Preparation of initial Tax computation of new employees, including for review by company auditor;
●       Issue the TD63 of the previous year;
●       Preparation of payroll and tax computation;
●       Calculation of Bonuses and compensation to employees (business trip expenses, company-related and agreed expenses);
●       Preparation and submission on a monthly basis of the payments to social insurance;
●       Preparation and submission on a monthly basis of the PAYE payments to Tax authority.
 
Required Skills & Experience
 
●       University Degree in relevant field
●       ACCA or ACA (it would be considered as an advantage).
●       at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in IT and/or an international company;
●       have a work permit to work in Cyprus;
●       you are Greek native or fluent in Greek;
●       your English and Russian are fluent;
●       excellent knowledge of Cyprus and international accounting standards, tax requirements, statutory laws and regulations;

Duties:
• full support of the office life (administrative and business matters, organization of procurement of all necessary);
• phone calls;
• company documents management (preparation of documents, keeping them in order, sending documents by post, working with courier services);
• documents printing, copying, scanning, shredding);
• meeting guests at the office (including serving water, tea, coffee);
• maintaining cleanliness in the office (kitchen and meeting rooms);
• organization of business trips (ordering tickets, booking hotels);
• communication with local authorities on daily company issues;
• communication with Cyprus immigration authorities on the issues of 3rd country nationals employed in the company;
• errands from management and employees.
Required Skills & Experience
• have a work permit to work in Cyprus;
• you are Greek native or fluent in Greek;
• your English and Russian are fluent;
• you can quickly find and organize all the necessary information;
• know how to work in multitasking mode and prioritize;
• you have a high level of independence, responsibility and organization;
• you are neat and moderately pedantic, infinitely correct and friendly.
